Energy Deregulation And Michael Jarmana

Posted by - admin / November 5th, 2009

The deregulation of the energy market represented a serious shift in the industry and it meant wholesale changes for energy suppliers, consultants, and even for consumers and businesses. Consumers were no longer forced to use their local energy supplier to provide their electricity and natural gas needs and were instead free to choose from a vast array of products and services offered by a range of suppliers; on the flip side of the coin, suppliers that had no previous need for marketing or advertising suddenly found themselves competing with other suppliers, often much bigger companies with bigger resources and deeper pockets.

Michael Jarmana was ever present throughout this period of transition and served with a number of high profile and extremely successful businesses. He was, for example, the leading light behind the incredible success of Stream Energy who not only increased their annual revenue to more than $1bn in less than four years (an achievement which took giants like Walmart 17 years and Google 7 years) but was also awarded the opportunity to represent the interests of Suez Energy, one of the largest businesses in the world.

Michael Jarmana’s success came about through a willingness to educate consumers in an area that very few had any working knowledge of and through the powerful but fair marketing of beneficial energy contracts. This combination quickly saw Michael Jarmana become one of the most widely recognized names and a leading light in the world of energy deregulation.
